A project about the soul of the Zeeburgereiland
In collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Creative Innovation (CoECI), the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (AHK) and InHolland, we developed a project to give back a soul to the Zeeburgereiland and to unveil unknown stories related to it. Here you can find the main contributions of this project: a walking tour around the island, a soundtrack of the area and a collection of old and current photographs from the site.
Walking tour
One of the main contributions of this project is a walking tour around the island. The aim of this tour is to show the unknown past of the island through walking and discovering the island. Also, the walking tour is accompanied by a collection of old and current pictures from the different stops, so it gives a historical perspective from the island. Soundtrack of
the island
The second main contribution of this project is a collaborative soundratck of the island. We asked the "eilanders" and people linked to the island to create a soundtrack related to each stop of the walking tour in order to create a sound soul for the Zeeburgereiland.
